All Forza games since FH2 have been made in mind with HDR monitors and especially with saturated high contrast TV displays. This has resulted in them being very washed out looking on most non-HDR PC monitors. This is mod that edits the game files responsible for color grading to give the game a more saturated contrasted look. The values have been chosen to match how the game is supposed to look and a proper saturated HDR display. Due to this, if your monitor is capable of HDR or very saturated by default, this mod is gonna look too saturated.
If you want to modify the values in these files to lower or increase the saturation and contrast, simply modify the contrastvalue field in all the TimeOfDay.xml style files, and all four fields that include the word saturation in the tracksettings.xml style files.
Installation: Drop the contents of the "FH2 Nova Color Grading" folder into your root directory for your Azimuth FH2 install (where the data and Mount folders are located)
Uninstall: Due to how many files this thing modified, any removal method is a slight headache. I recommend making backups of all the default files this mod modifies. Modifying all the values I mentioned above to just 1 would also "remove" the mod.
Updates:
10/27/2026 - Azimuth's newest launcher version seems to have added its own attempt at adding a fake HDR tonemap to the game, I have no idea how exactly its doing it but for right now I'm updating the mod to lower the values modified from 5 to 3 to account for this chance. I will revert it in a future update if Azimuth also reverts the the change.
